The Pride of Ilocos Sur National High School

March 9, 2024, was the 122nd Ilocos Sur National High School (ISNHS) Foundation Day. It is very overwhelming to think that Ilocos Sur Natinal High School has existed for 122 years now, and I am very proud to say that I am an ISNHSian. To celebrate these special events, we had a parade to showcase our costumes for the performance of the field demonstration of all the grade levels of junior high school. And to create a feeling of solidarity and togetherness among teachers and students, encouraging a sense of pride in the school and uniting individuals through shared memories and experiences.

Furthermore, in the field demonstration, we performed the Sinulog Festival and showed the talents of grade 10 students. We prepared for this performance for more than a week. It is tiring, but it was worth it because the reactions of the audience were overwhelming. Our teachers were also very proud of us. They were very happy to see us performing and celebrating this special event or day for Ilocos Sur National High School.

We also watched the coronation of the Mr. and Ms. Popularity Contest 2024. We also saw the last king and queen of ISNHS 2020. There were also performances where we watched them sing Taylor Swift songs, and our MAPEH teachers also danced the famous traditional dance of the Philippines, which is the tinikling. I was very happy and felt proud while watching them. I am also very happy to share all of these memories with my classmates and schoolmates. This is the last time that I celebrated Ilocos Sur National High School Day as a junior high school, and it was a very fun and unforgettable experience.

In addition to celebrating the school's historic past, the 122nd Ilocos Sur National High School Foundation Day celebration served as a symbol of the school's dynamic spirit and togetherness. The day was full of pride, friendship, and treasured memories, from the vibrant procession highlighting the students' abilities to the moving performances that represented Filipino culture. It was an honor to be a part of such an important turning point in the school's history as a student. We, the students, will always carry these priceless memories with them, acting as a constant reminder of the rich history and long legacy of Ilocos Sur National High School.
